POE-com For Joomla 1.5
POE-com 1.5, Product Options E-commerce for Joomla 1.5, is an extension that creates a flexible product catalog for configurable products. This version is designed to work with sites using Virtuemart 1.1.9, which is used for order processing functions. POE-com handles product presentation and option configurations.

Business Process Flow for Staged Options (can be quite complex)
When using staged options it is much easier in the long run to create process flows for options and determine at which stage option should be presented. This also helps with deciding when to include additional infomration via Detail links.
Clearly defined pricing models
Knowing how the price should be calculated helps decide on which of the cumulative pricng models to use and is essential for validation testing.
Modified views
Currently there are two views; product and optionstages. If your product detail layout is much different than the demo site plan on a minimum reworking the page style or perhaps creating additional views as needed.
Custom price calculators
If your pricing requirements can not be defined with the standard pricing models it will be necessary to create a new calculation method and include it in the price calculator.
No Attributes or Parent/Child
Although it is possible to use Virtuemart Advanced/Custom atributes or Parent Child Item on the same instance of Virtuemart that POE-com uses it is not recommended. POE-com is design to replace these features.
